Safran
Safran is an association which is naturally closely linked to Paluden rowing club. (the association itself being formed by rowers from the club)
Safran came about when Yves Guignot’s Brug boatyard, which gave us the famous Brug 24 and Brug 30 sea yoles, closed its doors.
Safran has produced, with notable success, the Yole 25 (double skull) and its big sister the Yole 35 (coxed 4), conceived from Yves Guignot’s plans and designed as multi-purpose craft, adapted for training, racing and excursions.
Making the most of past experience, and working closely with the same architect, Safran has developed two new sea yoles:
- The Safran 33, a fine tuned racing craft, designed to ensure stability, whilst realising its full potential for speed.
- The Safran "Trente S", an ideal club and training boat, yet capable of good speed, and easy to handle thanks to its hull inherited from the Brug 30 and its safe, open plan deck.
